Some of you might be wondering how we came up with Jailyn Hope. JAI are the first initials of our dear friends (that we see as family!) Izzy (Isabel), Julie and Amanda. Cal and Jason if we could have fit you in there some how we would have! :) Lyn is Bryan's sister's middle name, and Hope is Mimi (my mom's) middle name.
Jailyn's name given her by the Orphanage is Cao Yunyan. Cao is the surname given to many of the children in her orphange and Yunyan means bright clouds. Not sure if we can add this to the name we have given her... we'll see.

Wow! I will pray for you on your journey to adopt your daughter. A few people in my neighborhood have done this and it has been such a blessing in there lives. I will be watching your blog. Lia
Way to go Jodi! You are a braver sole than I to set up (and maintain) and blog! What true angels Jailyn will soon come to know as "Mommy and Daddy!" Praise Him for bringing her to you all. May she come to America lifted up is His strongest arms of love.
